December is always a wonderful time at our Firm. Our 2015 Food drive has ended and we have just finished collecting toys for our annual toy drive in coordination with the Toronto 32 Police Division and in support of the Chum City Wish Foundation. It’s hard not to sense the spirit of excitement and wonder resonating throughout our halls. The annual toy drive has a special place in our hearts here at Shulman Law Firm – we all have warm memories of our childhood around this special time of the year.
We all remember that special toy from our childhood which made the season so special and unique. It’s not just the toy, which may have made our holiday special – it’s the magic surrounding it. It may be the gathering of our family or friends exchanging gifts, or the fact that someone very special made the effort to give us a gift. It is these memories from our childhood that we all treasure the most as we become adults.
No child should be deprived of these wonderful memories, and conversely no parent should be deprived of the ability to create that wonderful memory for their children.

As we pass by our North York Office boardroom, we see all the wonderful toys that have been donated by both our Toronto Locations. It is impossible not to smile when thinking about the wonderful memories these toys will bring the children in years to come. As we grow older we realize that the world can be a difficult and unfair place at times. This is why the toy drive is so important – it is about so much more than just the toys.
Our 2014 Toy Drive was a great success and we were able to collect many toys to help this great cause.

This year, we are excited to say that we have outdone ourselves. Over 10 boxes of toys have been collected by our lawyers and staff, and picked up today by the officers of the 32nd Toronto Police Division.
All of the donated toys are ready to be picked up for our 2015 Toy Drive.
We thank everyone for their amazing support for this great cause.
