Coleen Williams

Colleen is an associate lawyer with Shulman & Partners LLP. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025 and practices out of the firm's Toronto office.
 
Colleen holds a dual Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude from the latter. She completed her articling term and gained practical expereince at a national full-service law firm in Toronto. During law school Colleen was a Research Assistant at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
 
Colleen is a devoted advocate for her clients. She prioritizes their needs and objectives, and works to find practical, creative solutions to the many challenges that can arise when a relationship breaks down.
 
Throughout law school, Colleen was deeply involved in mentorship, advocacy, and community initiatives. At the University of Windsor, she served as a Dual Student Representative, Vice President of Mentorship for the Black Law Students' Association, a peer mentor, and Research Coordinator for the Human Rights Law Association, in addition to volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada. In recognition of her leadership and community involvement, Colleen received the J.W. Whiteside Award from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
