It would be helpful to know ahead of time what the approximate costs are attached to each email and or conversation had with your lawyer. I knew there was cost attached but a lot of unknowns. Things can accumulate very quickly in high conflict so this would be crucial to know. If I were to start again I would ask for more details in this area and proceed with more caution. It’s easy to get carried away. In the end my lawyer was very honest about the risk versus reward in moving forward around my particular case. I appreciated this honesty and it helped me make some final decisions.
