Family Law Updated To Catch Up To Hryniak

New changes to the family law rules will allow for mini-trials instead of full-blown proceedings, and help reduce costs to litigants. Ron Shulman, founder of Shulman Law Firm, calls the changes “a very significant revision” and notes they will reduce some of the costs associated with family litigation, an area that sees more than 70 per cent of parties without legal representation.
