My child did not attend post secondary education immediately after completing highschool. He was 18 when graduated. Now he’s 20. Do I still have to pay child support if he returns to school now, full time or part time? I was told there couldn’t be a break in school attendance. He should have started post schooling right after high school. Is this right? I haven’t spoken to my son since he was 13. The mother prevents all contacts. Asking for help. Thank you.
I recently found out my husband has been having an affair for 4 yrs. I also learned that she put recording devices and a tracking device on his vehicle. She recorded a call that my husband and I had without our knowledge. Is this illegal and if so what steps should I take? All I have is him telling me that and her son was used to put the recording device in his vehicle. Would they both get subpoenaed to prove this?
I have rented this house for a year now I’m the only one on the lease although it does specifically say that I may have another roommate who does not need to be named on the lease if I care to. My boyfriend had lived here for a couple of months and now that I’m going to break up with him I know that he is going to try and get the house from me because he said he would and he really wants it but it’s clearly mine and I don’t know what to do or what I can do legally and without involving my landlord who would likely just kick us both out due to the hassle.
Once one person sends a layout of what they want in the separation agreement can we change it? My ex sent me a layout of what she wanted and I agreed to everything in the layout and I sent back the separation agreement with a clause for no spousal support which I thought was standard. And now she wants to change the value of the assets which she already requested.
My partner wants to separate. I am the primary income provider. I have always paid for the majority of all expenses, household, recreational, mortgage, food, utilities, etc. And I give him money on top of his own income. We are talking about a separation agreement but that will take time. He said he can get a legal order to require me to immediately start paying him spousal support even though he still lives with me, and we have not separated yet. Is that correct?
